Housing associations more dangerous than Communist

clothes line

You can be fined for this.

PERKASIE, PA. Is Awarded my IDIOT of the week award!
Ms. Jone Q. Public pegs her laundry to three clotheslines strung between trees outside her 18th-century farmhouse Local officials warn her to Stop Now! Housing Associations are more dangerous to America than Communism or foreign terrorist! They want to impose their personal opinions and values upon everyone else at any cost!

A step in the right direction: Florida, Utah, Maine, Vermont, Colorado, and Hawaii have passed laws restricting the rights of local authorities to stop residents using clotheslines.

‘RIGHT TO HANG’ Principal opponents are the housing associations such as condominiums and townhouse communities that are home to an estimated 60 million Americans, or about 20 percent of the population. About half of those organizations have ‘no hanging’ rules and enforce them with fines or threats of evictions.

Opposition to clotheslines may ease as more people understand it can save energy and reduce greenhouse gases. There is more awareness of impact on the environment. I would not be surprised to see people questioning these draconian housing association restrictions.

Right to hang is the embodiment of the American tradition of freedom. If my husband has a right to have guns in the house, I have a right to hang laundry out doors, said Jone Q Public. Besides, it saves money. Line-drying laundry for a family of five saves $80 dollars or more a month in electric bills.

Kevin Q Public who owns a two-bedroom condominium in a Dublin, Pennsylvania, his housing association, said he was to be fined $100 by the association for putting up a clothesline in a common area. What a bunch of over bearing criminal kangaroo court Idiot’s!

Tehran outraged at seizure of Muslim assets

Iran Justice System

TEHRAN, Iran —  Iran on Sunday denounced as ‘disgraceful’ U.S. moves to seize four mosques and a New York City skyscraper owned by a Muslim nonprofit organization suspected of Iranian links.

Confiscating the properties would be a sharp blow against Iran, which the U.S. government has accused of bankrolling terrorism and trying to build a nuclear bomb.

If Iran is outraged by this action then I strongly approve.

Senator Olympia Snowe betrays Republican Party!

piss_on_stupid_people
Senator Olympia Snowe {Maine Republican} voted with democrats to give federal government full control of the US Health Care System. This is a  betrayal of Maines citizens as well as all Americans. Democrat  Baucus plan would require Americans to purchase insurance. Questions persist about whether it would truly provide access to affordable coverage, particularly for self employed people with solid middle class incomes.

Finance Committee’s top Republican, Chuck Grassley of Iowa, gave voice to the GOP’s concerns about the bill, saying it was “moving on a slippery slope to more and more government control of health care.”

This bill is paid for by cuts to Medicare providers and new taxes on insurance companies and others. House Democratic leaders are working to finalize their bill, which does contain a public plan, and floor action is expected in both chambers in coming weeks.

Tax Payers may be Taxed to Bailout government Again

Where Does It Stop? After bailing out  Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, Obama administration may dig in tax payers pockets for more cash.  Federal Housing Administration {FHA}, which guarantees mortgages with low down payments, are becoming so acute that some experts warn the agency might need a federal bailout.

In the year since the government stepped in to rescue them, the companies have taken $96 billion from the Treasury, and may need more.  FHA, as many as 20 percent of F.H.A. loans insured last year — and as many as 24 percent of those from 2007 — faced serious problems including foreclosure.

Republicans, who led efforts to rein in Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac before those companies ran into trouble, are now seeking to bridle the F.H.A. Many Democrats insist the F.H.A. is playing a vital role in the housing market.

Many of the loans the F.H.A. insured in 2007 and last year are now turning delinquent, agency officials acknowledge. The loans made in those two years are performing “far worse” than newer loans. The number of F.H.A. mortgage holders in default is 410,916, up 76 percent from a year ago, when 232,864 were in default, according to agency data.

Bankruptcies up 41 percent from 2008

Consumer bankruptcies soared 41 percent in September from a year before.  Unemployment and the housing market crash still taking their toll on Americas economy. American Bankruptcy Institute said it expects consumer bankruptcies to climb to more than 1.4 million this year.

Unemployment rate rose to a 26-year high in September at 9.8 percent, according to government statistics.  Contributing to mortgage delinquencies accelerating in August to a record level.

Rescission Recovery is a Myth

Obama has touted the unprecedented $787 billion economic stimulus package passed by Congress earlier this year as having helped to rescue the economy from its worst crisis since the Great Depression.

Democrats are pushing for additional measures to boost growth, Republicans have taken aim at the stimulus package. They contend it has done little jump-start growth but has added massively to the U.S. budget deficit. Republicans stepped up their criticism of Obama’s handling of the economy after government figures showed the unemployment rate inched upward to 9.8 percent, the highest since 1983.

U.S. Senate Finance Committee health plan would only cost $829 billion and cut the budget deficit by $81 billion over 10 years. Obama’s top domestic priority, would require individuals to have health insurance. Obamas plan bill would impose a New Tax on higher-cost insurance plans.

Every 13 seconds in America, there is another foreclosure filing. That’s the rhythm of a crisis that threatens to choke off hopes for a recovery in the U.S. housing market as it destroys hundreds of billions of dollars in property values a year.

Americans face more than 6,600 home foreclosure filings per day, according to the Center for Responsible. With nearly two million already this year, the flood of foreclosures shows no sign of abating any time soon.

Treasury Department said more than 6 million families could face foreclosure over the next three years. There are more than 6,600 home foreclosure filings per day, according to the Center for Responsible Lending,. With nearly two million already this year, the flood of foreclosures shows no sign of abating any time soon.

Country’s worst housing downturn since record-keeping began in the late 19th century may only get worse since foreclosures, which started with subprime borrowers, have now moved on to the much bigger prime loan market on the back of mounting unemployment.

Recent pickup in sales and home prices in some regions has been heralded as a sign that the crisis in residential real estate may be close to bottoming out, after the steepest price decline since at least 1890. Nearly half of recent sales have been attributed to foreclosures or “short sales” at bargain-basement prices.

U.S. economy seems to be recovering from its worst recession since the Great Depression, mortgage delinquencies continue to rise.

Americans Pay Billions To Foreign Governments

stupid_people_no_breedingOlder Americans and Americas children are faced with increasing food, medical, utility cost yet congress can find 1.5 billions dollars a year ‘GIVE AWAY’ for Pakistan! What the hell is wrong with our elected representatives in Washington DC?

Congress bill approved by a voice vote in the House, would provide Pakistan with $1.5 billion in aid a year over the next five years for democratic, economic and social development programs.

More Stupid government spending! Among those grants was $73,000 to study whether the Asian tradition of dragon boat racing will enhance the lives of cancer survivors more than just walking.
Maybe you will like this one! $65,472 to study the relationship between HIV and sex in St. Petersburg, Russia.
What about this grant! $700,000 for a study that examines how taxes, trade and politics affect tobacco sales in Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam and other nations in Southeast Asia.

Your going to love these! U.S. is expected to spend about $36.7 billion on its foreign aid budget next year.
* $98 million to persuade Kim Jong-il of North Korea to give up nuclear weapons
* $20 million for political prisoners and political rights in Castro’s Cuba
* $6 million to promote civil society in Hugo Chavez’s Venezuela
* $500,000 for border security in Muammar al-Qaddafi’s Libya
* $26 million to help train police in Evo Morales’ Bolivia
* $56 million to support the rule of law and human rights in Vladimir Putin’s Russia, arguably one of the world’s richest nations.
* $360 million to Jordan to advance political reforms and make local health improvements
* $250 million for Egypt to push political and economic reforms
* $109 million to help foster democracy in Lebanon
* $400 million to the Palestinian Authority, which doesn’t even represent the 1.5 million residents of Gaza

Once again I ask “What the hell is wrong with our elected representatives in Washington DC”?

Democrats see large drop in fundraising

Democratic political committees see a decline in their fund raising this year, a result of complacency among their donors and a de facto boycott by many of their wealthiest givers, who have been stopped or reduced donations due to democrats harsh rhetoric about big business.

Can it be that after 2010 elections the democratic party will find them selfs a minority in the House and Senate? I can only hope this is the case.

Terrorist Targeted U.S. Military

Two North Carolina terrorist suspects plotted to kill U.S. military personnel and one of them obtained maps of a Marine Corps base in Virginia. Daniel Patrick Boyd and Hysen Sherifi this first time authorities have said the homegrown terrorist had specific targets. Prosecutors said Boyd “undertook reconnaissance” of the base, about 30 miles south of Washington. “These charges hammer home the grim reality that today’s homegrown terrorists are not limiting their violent plans to locations overseas, but are willing to set their sights on American citizens and American targets, U.S. Attorney George Holding said in a statement.

FBI said agents seized some two dozen guns and more than 27,000 rounds of ammunition from Boyd’s home. The indictment says Boyd possessed armor-piercing ammunition to attack Americans targets.
